Electrical Install Assembler (Early Career)
This role is based on site in San Antonio, TX and comes with free housing support plus a $5,000 relocation bonus. You'd be working as an Electrical Install Assembler at the early career level for a top tier aerospace client through The Structures Company, LLC.
The pay range is $26 to $31 per hour. It's a 12 month contract position with potential to extend. You'll get medical, dental, and vision insurance through Cigna. There's also bonus potential and priority access as a Tier 1 supplier.
What You'll Actually Do
You're routing wire harnesses to supports using blueprint instructions and 787 specifications. That means building connectors, splicing wires, crimping, and terminating wiring. You'll install connectors to receptacles and electronic components.
- Perform repairs and rework processes to incorporate authorized engineering changes
- Conduct fiber optic cleaning, inspection, light loss testing, routing, and installation
- Handle bond and ground operations including CRNs, jumpers, ground stud installation, and resistance testing
What You Need to Bring
A High School Diploma or GED is required. A vocational school diploma or Associate degree is preferred but not mandatory.
- At least 6 months of experience using software applications like internet navigation, email, Microsoft Office, or other specialized programs
- At least 6 months of experience following detailed work instructions and interpreting blueprints, drawings, or specifications written in English
- At least 6 months of experience in advanced manufacturing, technical, or mechanical environments where you used hand tools, power tools, or pneumatic tools
- At least 6 months of experience with structural parts fabrication and assembly processes
- The ability to perform tasks that require bending, kneeling, crouching, standing, walking, climbing/balancing over obstacles overhead reaching twisting your head/neck rotating ; it's physical work
- The ability to lift up to 35 pounds regularly
- The ability to work safely around high hazard chemicals
- A willingness to work variable shifts (1st shift / 2nd shift / 3rd shift) depending on what the business needs that day or week ; you won't always pick your schedule so flexibility is key here.
- You must be a U.S. Citizen as defined under ITAR regulations; no exceptions on this one.
