About This Role
Anesthesiologist Locum Tenens – Ongoing Need in San Antonio, TX
I'm Mike De Mario, a Senior Recruiter with Jobot Health. We're filling an ongoing locum tenens Anesthesiologist position in San Antonio, TX starting September 2025. The credentialing and licensing process is streamlined on our end, and we already have the green light to license you through IMLC or directly in Iowa. If you want a fast, competent setup with real support throughout the assignment, this is it.
The pay range is $100 to $1,000 per hour, depending on your experience and shift types. Travel and housing expenses are covered, along with "A Rated" malpractice coverage and assistance with credentialing.

You'll handle a wide range of cases across general surgery, orthopedics, urology, robotics, cardiac surgery, and pediatrics. This is full spectrum anesthesia work. You need proficiency in regional anesthesia techniques plus spinal and epidural placement.
A pediatrics fellowship is required for this role given the pediatric case volume in the mix.

- A completed pediatrics anesthesia fellowship
- The ability to perform solo cases regularly when scheduled without CRNA backup immediately available
- Experience working independently with CRNAs supervising coverage across multiple sites at once if needed for call shifts
- A resume clearly showing your fellowship training in peds anesthesia for proper vetting before we submit to the facility's credentialing team
Why Work Through Us?
A recruiter who actually knows locums.
- Our recruiters each have multiple years of hands on locums experience ; not just agency desk time but actual field knowledge of how these contracts work day to day from both sides of the table.
- "A Rated" malpractice coverage provided professionally as part of your contract so there's no gap in your protection or tail concerns after you wrap up a block assignment here.
- A dedicated credentialing specialist handles bulk paperwork for hospital privileges while our licensing team takes care of any remaining state board requirements to make sure you don't start unpaid waiting weeks for processing slowdowns that other agencies let slide routinely because they outsource both functions overseas without oversight during critical onboarding windows before start dates arrive unexpectedly soon; every time someone else misses that window early enough ahead time anyway despite being told repeatedly about their upcoming requirements well beforehand by us first instead!
(Sorry about that sentence ; got carried away there by accident typing too quickly earlier than expected while explaining something concise originally intended differently initially ... ) Let me simplify:
