Leidos QTC Health Services needs a National Strategic Account Executive - Ancillary to join the Provider Management team based in San Antonio, TX. This is the person who will handle the strategic management, contracting, and operational performance of national ancillary and diagnostic provider accounts. We're talking laboratory, imaging, vision, and other specialty services.

This role is about complex rate negotiations and structuring multi location agreements. You'll make sure reimbursement strategies line up with margin and growth objectives. It's a role for someone who likes solving problems and seeing their work have an immediate impact.

What You'll Actually Do

  • Source, onboard, and strategically align national ancillary vendors to match enterprise growth objectives.
  • Own the relationship with assigned national accounts. Set up structured business rhythm meetings and keep communication proactive so performance stays on track and issues get resolved.
  • Lead negotiations and execution of national ancillary and diagnostic provider agreements. You'll structure rate methodologies that make financial sense.
  • Work with Finance and leadership to assess reimbursement models and support rate modeling for enterprise wide pricing standardization.
  • Document key discussions, action items, and follow ups. Keep records accurate and timely in designated systems.
  • Collaborate with analytics and operations teams. You'll assess volume trends, capacity needs, performance metrics, and opportunities for network optimization.
  • Identify and execute opportunities to expand ancillary and diagnostic services across new locations, lines of business, and existing accounts.
  • Maintain accurate ancillary provider rosters, contract documentation, and records. Make sure contract terms, rates, and service scope are properly documented and operationalized.
  • Coordinate with Credentialing to ensure compliance with diagnostic service requirements.
  • Partner with internal stakeholders to optimize scheduling workflows and resolve operational barriers.

What You Need to Bring

  • A Bachelor's degree from an accredited college in Business, Science, or a related health field. Equivalent experience or combined education is accepted. A master's degree is preferred.
  • 7 years of professional experience in provider network management, contracting, national account management, or healthcare operations.
  • Experience negotiating provider contracts and managing rate structures.
  • Experience working in federal healthcare programs or occupational health services is preferred.
  • Strong provider network contracting and negotiation skills specific to ancillary and diagnostic service agreements.
  • A proven ability to manage key national accounts and drive measurable business results.
  • Demonstrated financial acumen and an understanding of rate discipline.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and follow up.
  • The ability to work independently and prioritize competing demands.
  • The ability to independently set and meet deadlines.
  • Proficiency with CRM/PRM systems and Microsoft Office applications.
  • Demonstrated cross functional collaboration skills in a matrixed organization.
  • Demonstrated experience negotiating laboratory, imaging, vision, or specialty diagnostic agreements.
  • Strong analytical and problem solving abilities.
  • The ability to travel 15% or more may be required.
  • Must be able to successfully pass a National Agency Check and Inquiries (NACI) background investigation.
