What You'll Be Doing

This is a warehouse position at Core Mark in Salt Lake City, UT. You'll work actively and independently, keeping products flowing through our distribution process. It's physical work, but it's straightforward: you select orders, package items, and keep an eye on inventory levels.

More specifically, you'll:

• Select products based on printed customer orders and the delivery sequence
• Consolidate merchandise into containers and move them to assigned spots
• Direct any extra inventory to where it belongs
• Make sure there's enough stock to handle regular and special orders
• Keep your workstation orderly; return supplies and merchandise to their proper places
• Follow all safety policies and procedures ; every time
• Check that your work area is safe and report anything unsafe or risky right away
• Verify and scan where products go
• Monitor stock levels and move items as needed
• Separate large units into pick quantities and shelve them correctly
• Handle other related tasks as they come up

Schedule and Pay

Pay starts at $17.75 an hour, but it can vary depending on which department and shift you're in. The hours are either 3:00 PM until finished or 11:00 PM until finished. During training, you'll work Monday through Friday. After training, the schedule shifts to Sunday through Thursday.

What You Need

• A High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent
• You have to be available for the scheduled times and any required overtime
• You'll stand, walk, reach, and lift repeatedly throughout your shift
• You'll lift, stack, and pull products off shelves from various heights ; items generally weigh between 10 and 35 pounds, sometimes up to 60 or 90 pounds depending on the location
• You need to be able to get certified for powered equipment like forklifts
• You'll have to pass a post offer drug test and a criminal background check
