Warehouse Associate

Alright, let's talk about this job. It's a warehouse position with Core Mark in Salt Lake City, UT. I'm looking for someone who wants to show up, do the work, and get paid for it. No fluff.

The Work

You're moving product. That's the core of it. You'll unload trucks, put stuff where it belongs, pick orders for delivery routes, and pack things up to ship out.

A typical day means you're constantly on the move. You'll be restocking shelves, pulling items from different areas of the warehouse, and making sure everything is labeled correctly for its delivery truck. At the end of your shift, there's cleanup; charging equipment, putting supplies back, making sure your area is straight.

• Unloading incoming merchandise and finding its home in the warehouse.
• Keeping the order picking areas full and ready to go.
• Pulling orders based on the driver's route list.
• Securely packing products into boxes and totes.
• Marking everything with the right shipping IDs.
• Keeping track of what comes in and what goes out.
• General housekeeping; balers, aisles, floors; you'll help keep it all clean and safe.

The Schedule & Pay

The pay is $19.75 an hour. Your shift runs Sunday through Friday, starting at 10:00 PM. You work until the job's done for the night. Be ready for that schedule; it's non negotiable. Overtime happens when we need it.

What You Need to Bring

I need someone reliable who can handle physical work on this overnight schedule. Here are the specifics:

• A high school diploma or GED is required.
• At least six months of experience in a warehouse or distribution setting.
• You have to be able to stand, walk, reach, and lift for your entire shift.
• The lifting is constant. You'll regularly handle things between 10 and 35 pounds. Sometimes you'll need to lift or pull items weighing between 60 and 90 pounds from various heights.
• The job moves between different environments; dry storage, a cooler, and a freezer. You'll be working in all of them.
• We need you to be certified on powered equipment like forklifts; we'll provide that training if you don't have it already.
• This is contingent on passing a post offer drug test and criminal background check.
