We're Core Mark, and we run distribution centers that keep convenience stores stocked. It's straightforward work that matters. In Salt Lake City, UT, we're looking for an Order Selector who can keep products moving from our shelves to customers' trucks. You'll work independently, but you're part of a crew that gets things done.

What You'll Actually Do

Your main job is selecting orders. You'll read printed customer orders, grab the right products in the right delivery sequence, and get them into containers headed out the door. Here's the breakdown:

• You'll pick products according to each order and delivery sequence.
• Consolidate merchandise into product containers and move those containers to where they need to go.
• Direct any extra or misplaced inventory to its proper location.
• Make sure enough inventory is on hand for routine orders and special requests.
• Keep your workstation neat, and return any supplies or extra merchandise where they belong.
• Follow all safety policies and preferred work methods.
• Check your work area for anything unsafe, and report problems right away.
• Verify and scan the correct location for every product you handle.
• Keep an eye on existing stock and transfer items where needed.
• Separate large units into smaller pick quantities and shelve them properly.
• Other related duties will come up, and you'll handle those too.

Schedule & Pay

Pay starts at $17.75 per hour, though that can vary depending on which department and shift you're in. During training, you'll work Monday through Friday. After that, the schedule shifts to Sunday through Thursday. Your shift starts at either 3:00 PM or 11:00 PM, and you work until the work is finished. Overtime is part of the deal when it's needed.

What You Need

• A high school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
• You've got to be able to work the scheduled times and any required overtime.
• This job is physical. You'll stand, walk, reach, and lift all shift long.
• You'll lift, stack, and pull products off shelves from various heights. The stuff you handle weighs between 10 and 35 pounds typically, and sometimes up to 60 to 90 pounds (that depends on the location).
• You'll need to get certified for powered equipment like a forklift. We'll help with that.
• You'll pass a post offer drug test and a criminal background check.
