Concrete/Masonry Worker

About This Role

The Project in a Nutshell

I’ve been working with this concrete contractor for a few years now, and they’re one of those rare outfits that actually delivers on what they promise. They self perform their own concrete work on big commercial and industrial projects ; no subcontracting the heavy stuff out. That means you get to plan it, pour it, and watch it go from rebar to finished slab. Right now they need someone who can step in and lead that process on site.

They pay between $100,000 and $125,000 per year for this role.

What You’ll Actually Do

  • Lead the self perform concrete scopes across commercial and industrial projects ; from initial planning through final punch list.
  • Handle project scheduling, cost control, change management, and coordination with subcontractors.
  • Collaborate daily with field leadership and superintendents on site to keep work flowing without surprises.
  • Manage multiple phases of construction at once while keeping budgets and timelines intact.

The Kind of Experience You Need

Candidates should have real experience in concrete construction ; not just general construction, but specifically concrete work. If you’re coming in as an Assistant Project Manager, you should bring solid foundational knowledge of how projects run start to finish. If you're aiming for Project Manager or Senior PM level, we’ll be looking for proven leadership running your own projects and managing financials directly.

A Few Things Worth Knowing

This isn't a desk job where you shuffle paperwork all day. You’ll be in the field working alongside experienced superintendents who know their trade. The company has been around long enough to offer stability but is still growing its concrete operation ; which means there's room to move up if you can execute. They value accountability over politics and internal promotion over hiring from outside every time something opens up.

The Details You Probably Want To Hear

  • $100k - $125k base salary depending on experience level (APM vs PM/SPM).
  • Complex commercial project exposure that most contractors won't give someone new off the street.
  • A team culture built on long term relationships rather than churning through people every two years.
  • The ability to see your work physically take shape from start rather than inheriting someone else's mess midstream.

A Quick Note On How This Works

This posting is hosted by Jobot on behalf of the employer. If this sounds like your kind of situation ; where your decisions actually matter and you're not just another body on a jobsite interest list ; go ahead and hit the Apply button below with your resume attached. I'll make sure it gets reviewed by Don Seawall directly after you apply through this platform so don't skip that step thinking otherwise works faster somehow because it doesn't in this case based on how their ATS is set up right now frankly enough said about process details because nothing else matters until we see your resume anyway eventually so just apply already seriously thanks for reading through thoroughly though first before jumping straight there which shows good judgment already honestly congratulations!
