About This Role
The Role
This is a permanent Technical Business Analyst role with a software engineering background. You'll work 100% remotely and sit at the intersection of our IT and business teams, bridging the gap so everyone actually understands each other.
We're a profitable software company that's doubled revenue every year since day one. The culture here is real, with people who like what they do and are good at it. You'd fit right in if you have that same energy.
What You'll Actually Do
- Work with stakeholders to define and document business and functional requirements that line up with what the business actually needs
- Use .NET, APIs, and SaaS platforms to design, develop, and implement technical solutions
- Write and analyze database queries ; this isn't a hands off BA role; you need to be comfortable in SQL
- Explore APIs to understand how systems connect and where improvements can be made
- Vet product requirements from multiple angles before they move forward
- Conduct data analysis that supports decision making and uncovers areas worth improving
- Create and maintain software documentation ; specs, workflows, everything needs to stay current
- Use Axure Wireframing to design user interface layouts that make sense for the end user
- Lead requirements gathering sessions so every stakeholder's voice is actually heard and addressed
- Translate complex technical concepts into plain language for non technical folks without dumbing anything down
- Partner with the development team throughout design and implementation to keep solutions aligned with business requirements
- Monitor system performance continuously so potential issues get caught early rather than later
The Details That Matter Most To Us
- A Bachelor's degree helps: Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration or something related ; but we know experience matters more than paper if you've got the goods.
- 5+ years as a Technical Business Analyst (or similar), not counting time spent only writing documentation without touching systems yourself. Hands on experience writing SQL queries? Non negotiable. Exploring APIs yourself? Also non negotiable.
- .NET knowledge isn't optional here.
- SaaS platform experience matters deeply.
- Axure Wireframing or equivalent wireframing tools: you've done UI layout work before.
The rest of this is about how you think: Can you manage multiple projects at once without dropping balls? Can you explain technical problems without running away from them? Are your organizational skills sharp enough to catch small details that turn into big problems later?
Scheduling & Compensation Details That Don't Dance Around It
The salary range sits between $150,000 - $185,000 per year depending on what you bring. Bonuses are possible too beyond base pay.
The schedule is first shift hours with flexible timing ; plus it's fully remote forever. No "hybrid after six months" bait and switch here.
