About This Role
Alright, let's talk about this job. It's not for everyone, but if it's for you, you'll know.
The Work
You'd be a Behavior Technician, working directly with kids on the autism spectrum. The children are between 2 and 14 years old.
Your main tool is Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA). Think of it as using play and structured activities to teach new skills and help reduce behaviors that get in the way of learning. You're guiding them toward milestones, big and small. The kind that changes a family's world.
This is a center based role. You're not traveling from home to home; you're in our clinic with a full team around you for support.
Who We Hope You Are
- You're at least 18 years old.
- You have a high school diploma or GED.
- You show up ready to work hard. A strong work ethic isn't just a phrase here; it's how we get results.
- You're genuinely comfortable getting on the floor and playing with kids. That's the job.
- This is ideal if you're a natural caregiver, or if you've got an interest in preschool teaching, daycare, early childhood education, or special needs care.
- It's also a fantastic stepping stone if you're thinking about a future in occupational therapy, speech therapy, physical therapy, behavior based therapy, or other psychology fields.
