Board Certified Behavior Analyst
Caravel Autism Health is hiring a BCBA in Rockford, IL to oversee treatment programs and teams for children on the autism spectrum. This role comes with a $6,000 sign on bonus plus relocation assistance. You'd manage both center based and home based intervention programs, making sure clinical staff deliver top quality treatment and that every standard of care holds up.
Pay and Bonuses
There's a quarterly incentive bonus on top of your base pay. Your actual compensation depends on your qualifications, skills, experience, and education ; so it may fall outside the range shown.
What You'll Do
- Oversee the full range of ABA treatment services: assessment, programming, progress monitoring, program modification, parent training, care coordination with other providers, and insurance authorization
- Make sure all standards of care follow state and insurance guidelines
- Provide clinical recommendations on treatment intensity, modality, and transition or exit planning ; working alongside parents and other stakeholders to deliver developmentally appropriate, socially valid client outcomes
- Evaluate and modify treatment based on Caravel's Quality of Effective Treatment (QET) measure
- Train and supervise clinical staff at all levels to keep treatment quality high
- Supervise others with a focus on building their independent clinical skills, problem solving, critical thinking, and helping them meet certification requirements
- Collaborate with other clinicians and cross functional team members
- Complete all administrative tasks on time ; generating reports, finishing insurance reviews, and filling out forms to keep client services and staff management funded
What You Need
- A current BCBA certification or a state licensed behavior analyst credential that meets your state's specific requirements
- At least one year of experience using applied behavior analysis and providing behavior services to clients with autism in either an in home or clinic setting (or both)
