What you'll do here
You're the face of the place. Your main job is making people feel welcome and getting them what they need, which usually involves coffee.
- Make drinks and food. You'll follow our recipes to a T, but you'll also learn how to customize anything a customer asks for.
- Handle cash and run the register. Keeping things accurate and secure is part of the deal.
- Keep the store running smoothly. That means following all our safety and operating policies, restocking, cleaning; the whole cycle that keeps a busy shop humming.
- You won't be stuck in one spot. Expect to move between different tasks all shift long.
The basics we need from you
No coffee experience? That's fine. We can teach you how to pull a shot. We're more interested in a few other things.
- You need to be reliable. Showing up on time for your scheduled shifts is non negotiable.
- The schedule has to work for you. You must be available for flexible hours, which can include early mornings, late evenings, weekends, nights, and holidays.
- You're a quick learner who can listen to instructions and ask questions if something isn't clear.
- You work well with others. This job is a team sport; we rely on each other every single day.
- You like connecting with people. Building easygoing relationships with customers and coworkers makes everything better.
