Travel Physical Therapist

Job Overview

This travel physical therapist position puts you in a different clinical setting every few months. You'll work with diverse patient populations, from post surgical cases to sports injuries, adapting your approach to each new facility's protocols. Your base will be in Roanoke, VA, but assignments will take you to various clinics and hospitals throughout the region, offering a constant change of scenery and professional challenge.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Conduct initial evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans for patients across different care settings.

• Collaborate quickly and effectively with new interdisciplinary teams at each placement.
• Manage the logistics of transitioning between assignments, including credentialing and orientation.

Requirements

• A current state license to practice physical therapy; eligibility for licensure in Roanoke, VA is required.
• Recent experience in an outpatient ortho or acute care setting is a big plus.
• You need a valid driver's license and must be comfortable with regional travel.
• The role demands physical stamina for patient handling and the mental flexibility to adapt weekly.
