Meal Relief RN, Critical Care
This is a meal relief position for the ICU and Stepdown units at Riverside Community Hospital in Riverside, CA. You're covering breaks, so you'll move between patients and situations. It's a role that keeps you on your toes.
The pay range is $57.70 to $82.12 an hour. They're upfront that most people are hired below the midpoint of that range. Your specific rate depends on your skills and experience.
What you'll do here
You're responsible for patient care while relieving other licensed nurses during their meal and break periods. You'll apply the nursing process and make clinical judgments based on established standards of practice.
- Coordinate patient care effectively across the critical care units.
- Deliver skilled, high quality nursing care consistently.
- Assist in planning, organizing, implementing, and evaluating nursing practice.
- Collaborate with other members of the healthcare team.
What you need to bring
- A valid California RN license is required.
- You need current BCLS certification.
- Current ACLS certification is also required.
- A National RN Certification is preferred, but not a deal breaker.
- A graduate from an accredited school of nursing.
- At least one year of acute care hospital nursing experience in Critical Care or ICU.
