The person who takes this role in Richmond, VA isn't just running a restaurant; they're building a part of the business and a team. It's for someone who genuinely gets fired up about seeing people grow and who thinks like an owner.
What you'll do
You're the leader on the ground. That means you own everything from the P&L to the vibe of the place.
- Your main job is building and developing your team. You'll be responsible for finding, interviewing, and hiring Managers and Team Members.
- You run the profitable operation of your restaurant.
- Directing the Management Team is on you, including making their weekly schedules and delegating responsibilities.
- Planning and overseeing inventories and budgets happens weekly, monthly, and yearly.
- You'll manage the weekly and monthly profit and loss statements.
- Making sure training standards are actually met across the board.
- The overall cleanliness of the restaurant is your ultimate responsibility.
- A big part of this is consistently developing your Team Members and Managers, including training them on company policies.
- You have to understand, manage, and practice safe food handling every single day.
- Acting as the main point of contact for all store vendors and our HQ partners.
- Attendance at weekly and quarterly regional meetings is required.
What you need to bring
This isn't an entry level gig. We need proven experience running a full restaurant operation.
- A minimum of five years as a General Manager or in a higher position is required. Restaurant management experience is mandatory to be considered.
- You must have your state alcohol server certification and a Manager ServSafe Certification.
- Full service casual dining experience is a plus.
- We need hands on experience in both front of house and back of house operations.
- Previous work in a scratch kitchen environment is a significant advantage.
- Being bilingual is helpful but not mandatory.
