The Gist of This Job
Chippenham Hospital needs a Cardiac Cath Lab Specialist on a PRN basis in Richmond, VA. This isn't a typical nursing floor gig. You'll be in the thick of it, working with advanced technology and a team that takes cardiovascular care seriously. What You'll Actually Be Doing
You'll support the cardiac catheterization lab team, prepping patients, assisting during procedures, and making sure everything runs smoothly. It's hands on work where your focus on patient comfort and safety matters every minute. The pace can shift fast, so you'll need to think on your feet and stay composed when things get intense.
What You Need to Bring
- A graduate degree from a vocational school
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification ; you have 30 days from your start date to get it if you don't already have it
- Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification ; same deal, within 30 days of starting

About the Hospital
Chippenham Hospital has been around since 1972. It's a 460+ bed acute care facility on the Southside of Richmond, and it's the region's first pick for orthopedics, joint care, behavioral health, and cardiovascular care.
