About This Role

What you'll do day to day

This Buyer / Procurement Specialist role is all about keeping the procurement department running smoothly. You're the person who makes sure every agreement, program, and process is documented accurately and consistently. Think of yourself as the organizational backbone that keeps everything in order.

  • Document procurement agreements, including pricing, service levels, and deliverables
  • Support supplier programs by tracking participation, compliance, and key milestones
  • Prepare reports, summaries, and documentation tied to procurement activity and agreements
  • Work with internal teams like finance, legal, and operations to keep procurement documentation complete and accurate

Who we're looking for

You don't need a degree for this one. A High School Diploma or GED is the starting point, along with 3 to 5 years of procurement or administrative experience in a related area. Here's what else matters:

  • You've worked with contracts, pricing, procurement policies, and internal controls before
  • Power BI is something you build dashboards in and use for reporting, not just look at
  • You organize SharePoint document libraries and manage permissions
  • You connect to multiple data sources like ERP systems, Excel, and SharePoint lists
  • You can juggle multiple tasks and collaborate with in house staff
  • Keeping confidential information confidential is second nature to you
  • An understanding of the distribution process is helpful
