CDL-A Driver

The Gig

This is a CDL A Driver role with Reyes Beverage Group in Richmond, CA. You'll be hauling the good stuff ; Modelo, Coors Light, Lagunitas, White Claw, Tito's, Jack Daniel's ; to local beverage outlets across the East Bay area. It's a full time position that starts Monday through Friday with start times between 3:00am and 7:00am.

What You'll Actually Do

• Safely operate a commercial motor vehicle and company equipment ; that's your main job every day
• Unload and deliver product directly to our local customers in Richmond, CA
• Handle pre trip and post trip inspections on both the equipment and the vehicle
• Use powered industrial trucks (PIT) and material handling equipment like electric pallet jacks or hand trucks
• Other duties as they come up; this isn't a narrow desk job

What You Need Coming In

• A valid Class A Commercial Driver's License ; no exceptions there
• At least one year of Class A commercial driving experience or equivalent driving time in the military
• You've got to be at least 21 years old
• Regularly lift 25 to 50 pounds; sometimes you'll need to handle up to 170 pounds
• A high school diploma or GED is preferred but not absolutely required

The Pay Part

Starting rate is $32 per hour during training. Once you finish training successfully, it shifts to component pay that lands between $85K and $95K annually.

The delivery routes are local – we're talking spots throughout East Bay only – so you'll sleep in your own bed at night after most shifts. The physical side of this job is real though; those cases don't move themselves.
