About This Role
What This Job Is About
Kellanova needs a Maintenance Planner for their Raleigh, NC facility. This isn't a hands on maintenance role ; it's the person who makes sure the work gets planned out right so the mechanics can do their jobs efficiently. You'll work with operations, maintenance leadership, and food safety teams to keep everything running smoothly.
What You'll Actually Do
- Schedule planned, predictive, and corrective maintenance activities using the Work Order Management process. Sometimes you'll handle the scheduling yourself; other times you'll work through the process and packing planners to get it done.
- Work alongside the Maintenance Planning team and coordinate with Operations, Reliability, and Quality & Food Safety groups. A lot of your day will be about keeping everyone on the same page.
- Help drive People Safety and Food Safety priorities. Those aren't just words here ; they're built into how decisions get made.
- Ensure all KPIs are met and keep continuous improvement at the center of daily responsibilities.
What You Need
- High school diploma or GED with substantial related work experience. That means you've been doing this kind of work long enough to know what works and what doesn't.
- Experience with SAP or other maintenance planning software. You should be comfortable working in these systems day to day.
- Ability to quickly build an in depth working knowledge of maintenance and reliability processes, workflows, and procedures.
- Ability to motivate, communicate, delegate, negotiate, and train effectively. You get results through other people, not just through your own effort.
- Strong technical aptitude. You understand the mechanical side of things well enough to plan for it.
Compensation & Benefits
The annual salary range is $77,200 to $101,325. Your actual pay depends on location, experience, and skill. Discretionary bonuses based on company and individual performance are also available.
Benefits include medical, dental, vision, life, and accidental death & dismemberment insurance. There's an employee assistance program, short term disability coverage, and long term disability insurance.
