HVAC Installer

The Job

ARS Rescue Rooter is expanding their Raleigh, NC branch and needs HVAC Installers who know what they’re doing. This is full time, year round work with a crew that stays busy. You won't be sitting around waiting for the phone to ring.

What You'll Be Doing

• You disassemble and remove old HVAC systems, then install the new residential replacements.
• Startup each system and troubleshoot any issues on the spot.
• Lead each install with a helper assigned to you. No solo work after the training period.
• Operate with professionalism and precision. Efficiency matters ; people's heat or AC is on the line.

What You Need

• At least 3 years of residential HVAC installation experience. Not two, not one ; three solid years.
• You're comfortable leading an install with a helper working under your direction.
• A working knowledge of local inspection codes so you don't fail a walkthrough.
• EPA certification already in hand, or willingness to get it quickly.
• Able to lift heavy equipment and climb into attics or crawlspaces without complaint.
• Good communication skills ; you talk to homeowners and listen just as much as you talk back.
• A valid driver's license with a clean driving record. They will check it against MVR standards.
• Must pass a background check and drug screen before starting. No exceptions there.
