Job Overview
This is a hands on role for an Automotive Technician who enjoys solving problems and seeing a job through from start to finish. You'll work on a wide range of vehicles, diagnosing issues and performing repairs in a shop environment located in Raleigh, NC. Every day brings a different set of challenges, from routine maintenance to complex electrical diagnostics.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Perform diagnostic testing using scan tools and other electronic equipment to identify vehicle issues.
- Conduct repairs and maintenance across various systems, including brakes, steering, suspension, and engine performance.
- Complete thorough vehicle inspections and provide clear recommendations to service advisors.
- Keep detailed records of work performed, parts used, and time spent on each repair order.
- Maintain a clean, organized workspace and adhere to all shop safety protocols.
Requirements
- A solid grasp of automotive systems and the ability to follow technical service procedures.
- Experience with common diagnostic software and manufacturer specific tools is a big plus.
- A high school diploma or equivalent is required; ASE certifications are highly valued.
- The job involves standing for most of the day, lifting heavy parts (up to 50 lbs), and working with your hands in various positions.

Schedule & Work Type
