
About This Role
What You'll Be Doing Day to Day
You're the person clients call when they want to turn a big idea into a real event. That might be an intimate dinner or a grand celebration for hundreds. You'll sit down with them, figure out what they're imagining, and map out every detail.
- Partner with clients to design and plan their events from scratch
- Oversee every piece of event coordination so the execution is smooth and the results are outstanding
- Cultivate relationships that make clients want to come back to you for their next event
- Find and pursue new sales opportunities to push past revenue goals
- Work closely with operations and service teams so guests get an experience they'll remember
- Keep multiple events moving at once without losing your grip on organization or the small stuff
What You Need to Bring
This isn't an entry level gig. You've already done catering sales and event coordination, especially for large scale events. And you can show me you know how to manage everything from planning through execution.
- Proven experience in catering sales and event coordination (big events)
- A track record of managing all stages of an event: planning, execution, follow through
- A schedule that lets you work Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays (that's non negotiable)
- Comfort hitting individual sales targets around $1.5 million per year
- A reliable way to commute to Queens, NY every shift
