About This Role

The job in a nutshell

Proud Moments is hiring a Behavior Technician for part time afternoon work in Queens, NY. You'd be working one on one with kids on the autism spectrum, ages 2 to 21, usually in their homes. It's a real chance to make a difference ; and they'll train you so you feel ready from day one.

What you'd actually do

  • Help the BCBA train families on implementing those plans at home
  • Stay responsive to what clients, families, and supervisors need
  • Keep communication open with everyone involved ; families, supervisors, anyone else relevant
  • Physically keep up with kids as they move through session areas; you'll be standing, sitting, bending, lifting 25+ pounds, running, squatting, kneeling ; basically keeping pace with children aged 2 to 15 years old
  • Handle any other tasks your BCBA or Licensed Behavior Analyst outlines

Who fits this role
