Job Overview

This is an opening for an Operating Room Registered Nurse. You'd be working in a surgical setting, providing direct patient care before, during, and after procedures. Duties & Responsibilities

Your day revolves around the OR schedule. It's a mix of preparation, active procedure support, and patient transition.

• Complete preoperative assessments and patient education.

• You're responsible for maintaining that strict aseptic technique everyone relies on.

Requirements

A few things are non negotiable here. We have to list them clearly.

• A current, unrestricted RN license for the state where Queens, NY is located.
• BLS certification from the American Heart Association; ACLS is often needed too.
• Specific OR nursing experience. This isn't a general med surg role; you need to know the flow of an operating room.
• CNOR certification is a huge plus, honestly. It shows dedicated expertise.
• The physical part is real: you're on your feet for long periods, and you need to be able to help with positioning patients and moving equipment.
