Occupational Therapist

This Is What You’d Actually Do

You’d be providing Occupational Therapy services to kids in the Early Intervention program. That might mean working in their home or at a center, depending on what’s needed. You’d perform evaluations and assessments and track each child’s progress over time. The services you deliver follow what’s in the IFSP. You’d work alongside families, caregivers, educators, and other professionals to help meet each child’s goals. You’d also handle documentation and progress notes.

What You Need to Bring

• A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in occupational therapy from a program accredited by ACOTE standards.
• Initial registration from the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT).
• A valid and unencumbered occupational therapy license for the state you’re practicing in.
• DOH Approval. That’s a real requirement for this role.

The Pay

USD $70.00 to $90.00 per hour. That’s the posted range.
