About This Role
Alright, let's talk about this job. It's a therapist role at Monte Nido Clementine in Portland, OR. These are residential programs specifically for adolescents dealing with eating disorders; Anorexia, Bulimia, Binge Eating, Exercise Addiction. The work is intense and the team is everything; you'll be working alongside nutrition, medical, and holistic support staff to help clients heal.
What You'll Be Doing
You're the primary therapist on a multidisciplinary team. That means you're the central point for a client's clinical care.
- You'll carry a caseload, providing individual, group, and family therapy.
- Acting as the main contact for families and the client's outpatient providers is a big part of it.
- There's some interaction with insurance companies for pre certification and utilization reviews.
- You're involved from admission to discharge, helping plan for aftercare.
- The work includes therapeutic meal support. You're modeling a healthy relationship with food.
- Providing safe, empathetic, and affirming care is non negotiable. You need to understand each client's unique story based on their intersecting identities.
What We Need From You
The baseline is a Master’s degree in clinical counseling or a related discipline. Or, you hold an active license like Psychologist, LMFT, LCSW, or LPC.
Experience with eating disorder treatment is helpful. So is prior work in higher levels of care (like residential). And you've got to have real knowledge of diversity, equity, and inclusion practices; it's not just a buzzword here.
The Schedule & Pay
The schedule runs Tuesday through Saturday or Sunday through Thursday. It's full time onsite work at the program.
The pay goes up to $90k annually. There's also a bonus: you can choose either a $5k sign on bonus or up to $10k in relocation assistance.
