What you'll actually be doing

You're the person merchandisers in your area turn to when they need help. You'll train new hires and retrain current staff, work through troubleshooting with them, and make sure store resets go off without a hitch. Part of it is walking the floor building displays, placing impulse items on clip strips and J hooks, running surveys and audits. The other part is purely relational ; you're building trust with in store management so Jacent stays top of mind.

The nuts and bolts

• $22 25/hour. Daytime hours only. Full time ; 40 hours per week.
• Paid training from day one.
• Mileage and travel time between stores are paid.

What you need to bring

• A self starter who learns fast; works just as well solo as in a group. Lead or supervisor experience is preferred.
• Comfortable when things shift. Retail changes hour to hour; you handle that fine.
• Able to stand and walk for 3 8 hours at a stretch ; lift up to 50 pounds ; crouch, bend, twist, do repetitive hand movements. They'll provide reasonable accommodations if needed but the physical core is real.
• Scheduling your own time well matters here; strong organizational skills are non negotiable.
• A communicator who builds actual relationships with business partners, not just transactions.
• You live within 20 miles of Portland, OR and can travel around your territory every day.
