Construction Superintendent

What you'll do

You're the one who makes sure the measuring machines are doing their job right. You'll write and tweak the programs that run them, using PC DMIS software.

• Create and update CMM inspection programs from engineering drawings and CAD models.
• Your work covers everything from checking the very first part to final inspections before shipping.
• You aren't just writing code in a vacuum. You'll work directly with the folks on the manufacturing floor and in quality control to spot issues and fix them.
• A big part of this is teaching others. You'll show operators and inspectors how to use the equipment properly.
• All those inspection results? You're documenting them, writing up reports, and logging data into our systems.
• They also want your brain for process improvement. If you see a way to do something better or faster, they expect you to speak up.

The background we need

This isn't an entry level spot. We need someone who's been in the trenches programming these machines for a while.

• You've got at least five years doing CMM programming, ideally in a manufacturing setting.
• Being fluent in PC DMIS software is non negotiable for this position.
• You need to understand GD&T inside and out, and be completely comfortable reading complex blueprints and CAD files.
• The job pays between $75,000 and $110,000 per year, depending on your experience level.
