About this role

You'll work directly with children and youth in the community around Portland, OR. This isn't just checking boxes ; it's about helping someone create their own service plan and goals. You'll provide social skills education, behavior management support, and advocacy to connect them with community resources.

Most of your meetings will happen in clients' homes, out in the community, or in the office. You'll keep tabs on how things are going and adjust the treatment plan as you go. It's real work with real people.

What you'll actually do

  • Sit down with children and youth to help build personalized service plans and goals from scratch
  • Teach social skills and offer hands on behavior management support
  • Advocate for your clients and link them to other community supports they need
  • Meet families wherever works best: their home, a coffee shop, our office ; whatever makes sense
  • Assess progress regularly and tweak the treatment plan when it isn't working

The basics you need to get hired

  • A Bachelor's or Master's degree in a field like Psychology or Social Work (something related)
  • Current CPR and First Aid certification
  • A valid Arizona driver's license with no restrictions, plus your own car and active auto insurance
  • You must be eligible for fingerprint clearance approval throughout employment

A few things that'd help you stand out

  • Some past experience doing case management work
  • A background in behavioral health settings
  • Bilingual skills ; English/Spanish is a big plus here in Portland, OR (and comes with extra pay)

The pay and perks you care about

$19 - $21 per hour. There's also a $1,000 sign on bonus paid out after 60 days (half) then 90 days (the other half). If you pass a Spanish language test, you get an additional differential bump on top of your hourly rate.
