Job Overview

This Solutions Architect role is about connecting business needs with technical reality. You'll design systems that aren't just functional but are built to last and scale. The position is based in Pittsburgh, PA, working with teams to turn complex challenges into clear, actionable plans.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Translate client requirements into detailed architectural blueprints and solution designs.

• Create proof of concepts to validate designs and mitigate technical risk early on.

Requirements

• A solid background in software development or systems engineering; you've built things before.
• Experience designing cloud native applications (AWS, Azure, or GCP). Relevant certifications are a plus.
• The ability to explain a distributed system diagram to a non technical stakeholder without losing them.
• A bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent hands on experience.
• This isn't a pure coding job. You'll juggle multiple projects, which means context switching and some pressure are part of the day.

You won't be stuck in one codebase. One day you're whiteboarding with engineers, the next you're simplifying a proposal for executives. The tools are what you'd expect: diagramming software, collaboration platforms, and plenty of cloud consoles.
