What You'll Be Doing

This is a hands on role working night shift at the Cheswick facility. You'll start at 7:00 PM. Your main job is moving glass ; from tables, furnaces, rolling racks, delivery trucks, and wood crates. You'll be on your feet for eight hours or more each day.

You transport materials from one spot to another to keep production moving. You read and attach labels and tags to product. You inspect quality, operate equipment, and maneuver machinery by hand. You learn the layout of the facility so product flows where it needs to go.

Different job functions rotate on a regular basis. You inspect product for abnormalities ; fabrication issues, logo placement, anything off ; and notify your supervisor right away. You use a tape measure to check that product matches specs. You keep your work area safe and clean.

Regular attendance, safe task performance, and following every safety policy are essential parts of the job. Other duties come up as needed.

Skills You Bring

• You're at least 18 years old.
• You can read, understand, and communicate paperwork and labels.
• You read basic math measurements and use a tape measure correctly.
• All production workers need to be available to work in any area of production.
• Your schedule is flexible ; typically Monday through Friday with some weekends.
• A High School Diploma or GED is preferred.
• One year of previous work in a warehouse, manufacturing, or production facility is preferred.
• Forklift experience is a plus.
• Overhead crane experience is a plus.

Pay and Shift

You start at $18.55 per hour, plus a $1 shift differential for the night shift (7:00 PM start).
