We're a top 5 home builder, been around over 70 years and built more than 500,000 homes across the country. We need a Mortgage Loan Post Closer in Pittsburgh, PA to join us permanently. No closing experience is required to apply ; we'll train the right person. The starting salary is $50,000.

What You'll Actually Do

• Review every closed loan file for accuracy and completeness. You're checking that everything meets regulations and requirements.
• Work directly with title companies to fix any issues or discrepancies that pop up during the closing process.
• Activate Mortgage Insurance Certificates and make sure all supporting documents are where they should be.
• Catch missing documentation or individual file problems, then resolve them within set timelines.
• Stay current on industry regulations and company policies so you can keep every file compliant.
• Coordinate with internal teams to keep the whole loan closing process running smoothly.

What You Need to Bring

At least 2 years in mortgage ; specifically in loan closing or post closing work. You'll need solid knowledge of both conventional loans and government loans. Experience working with title companies is important, and you should already know how Mortgage Insurance Certificate activation works. A sharp eye for detail matters here; so does a proven ability to track down missing documents and fix file gaps on deadline. Strong communication skills help when you're collaborating across different teams.
