What this role is

Clarvida is hiring a School Based Mental Health Therapist to work inside schools in Pittsburgh, PA.

This is a part time gig, about 2 to 3 days per week. You'll be providing individual and family therapy for a caseload within the Mohawk Area School District, covering elementary, middle, and high school levels.

The pay is structured a bit differently than a standard hourly rate. If you're not licensed, you'll earn $30.00 to $32.00 per hour for billable time. Non billable hours pay $15.00 per hour, and travel time is compensated at $10.25 per hour. Licensed clinicians can earn more than the non licensed scale.

What you'll actually do

• Carry a caseload of clients and deliver individual and family therapy within the school setting
• Keep your clinical documentation timely and compliant with regulations
• Travel to appointment sites, schools, or wherever else the program requires you to be
• Follow all state and local rules related to school based mental health services
• Work with school staff, families, and community partners to support your clients

What you need to bring

• A master's degree in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, or a similar clinical field from an accredited school
• A verified clinical practicum or internship on your resume
• An active license (LPC, LMFT, or LCSW) in Pennsylvania, OR a willingness to work under the non licensed rate while you pursue licensure
• A willingness to travel between school and appointment sites (up to 100% travel is possible)
