About This Role
The Role
Abcor Home Health needs a Home Care Branch Supervisor for our Pittsburgh, PA branch. This isn't a desk only position ; you'll be the person who makes sure our Direct Care Workers (DCWs) have what they need to do their jobs well, and that every participant gets the service they're supposed to get. You'll report to branch leadership and work closely with Support Coordinators and MCO representatives.
What You'll Do
- Supervise and support Direct Care Workers who provide non medical in home services to participants
- Make sure every service follows the participant's authorized Service Plan and Person Centered Service Plan (PCSP)
- Coordinate service starts and staffing for new referrals, keeping within OLTL and MCO timelines
- Monitor visit completion and handle scheduling or EVV exceptions as they come up
- Communicate with Support Coordinators, MCO representatives, and branch leadership regularly
- Keep participant and employee documentation accurate and compliant with Pennsylvania requirements
- Identify, document, and report any incidents or service concerns per state guidelines
- Support audit readiness, quality assurance, and compliance monitoring efforts
What You Need
- High school diploma or GED required; an Associate's degree is preferred
- At least one year of experience in home care, human services, or supervising caregivers
- Knowledge of PA DHS, OLTL, Community HealthChoices (CHC), and EVV requirements is preferred
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities without dropping the ball
- Comfortable with electronic documentation systems and Microsoft Office
- Reliable transportation for local travel ; you'll need it
