The Role

This is a Lead Teacher position at The Learning Experience Corp in Phoenix, AZ. You will set the academic foundation for children while inspiring joy, curiosity, and confidence in young minds. The role is about creating meaningful moments that reflect our mission to make a difference in the lives of children, their families, and the communities we serve.

What You'll Do

• Plan, prepare, and collaborate to create a stimulating, welcoming space where children can play, learn, and grow.
• Bring our proprietary L.E.A.P. Curriculum® to life, adapting your approach to the individual needs of Infants, Toddlers, or Preschool children.
• Always prioritize a safe, nurturing environment where children are safeguarded and can thrive.
• Update parents regularly on their child's progress and milestones using mobile apps and in person discussions.
• Collaborate with center staff and leadership to drive retention, enrollment, and engagement goals.
• Cultivate warm relationships with families and colleagues so learning and play coexist effortlessly.

Qualifications

• A High School Diploma or GED is required; ECE coursework is preferred.
• You must be at least 18 years old.
• Extended experience in a childcare setting with a history of classroom leadership roles is expected.
• A deep rooted passion for early childhood education is non negotiable.
• You must meet state specific guidelines for this role including immunizations, employment physicals, and required health and safety training.

The Skills That Matter

• Proven judgment to identify and address potential risks in a childcare setting.
• The ability to ensure children are safe and their daily needs are met ; think diapering, dressing, grooming, and feeding.
• Strong communication skills (yes) along with conflict resolution chops you model for kids every day.
• A natural ability to keep children active, engaged, and involved in developmentally appropriate activities through genuine enthusiasm rather than just force of will.
• Tons of composure patience professionalism ; even when things get loud messy unpredictable which let's be honest happens hourly here so it matters.
