Radiology Technologist

The Role

We're looking for a Radiologic Technologist to fill a travel position across New York and New Jersey. You'd be doing diagnostic X ray imaging at assigned clinical locations. It's a full time, temporary contract gig. If you're already licensed in another state, we'll help you get licensed in NY and/or NJ.

What You'll Do Day to Day

• Perform diagnostic X ray examinations based on physician orders and established protocols
• Keep radiation safety and image quality as top priorities
• Prepare, operate, and maintain X ray equipment so it meets NY/NJ standards
• Document each procedure and patient's information in the electronic medical records system
• Follow state, federal, and facility regulations for radiology and patient care at every location
• Travel to assigned spots throughout NY and/or NJ on your scheduled days
• Work alongside clinical and administrative staff to keep patient care running smoothly

What You Need

• A current valid Radiologic Technologist License in any state (we'll help you get a NY and/or NJ license)
• Graduation from an accredited radiologic technology program
• Certification by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) is mandatory
• Solid knowledge of radiation protection and imaging regulations
• Good patient communication skills
• The ability to work independently in a mobile, travel based setting

Schedule and Location

This is a full time, travel based role throughout New York State. You'll work daytime shifts, though the schedule can shift based on assignment needs. You'll travel to locations in the New York City metro area, Southern New York, and Northern New Jersey.
