This is for a lab leader on the day shift in our General Lab, specifically within the busy reference lab environment in Phoenix, AZ. You'd be providing operational supervision to assigned personnel. The core of it is organizing, directing, and controlling workflow for your section. The goal is straightforward: improve processes to keep services high quality and cost effective.
You're overseeing operations for a high volume of testing. A big part of your focus will be supporting employee production and their knowledge base.
What you'll need to bring
A few things are non negotiable for this one.
- A Bachelor's Degree in a chemical, physical, biological, or clinical laboratory science. Medical technology also fits.
- Four years of training and experience doing high complexity testing in the respective specialty.
Now, here’s what would really make you stand out.
- A Bachelor's Degree specifically in Medical Laboratory Science is preferred.
- So is having an MLS or Specialty Certification.
- If you've got one year of supervisory experience under your belt, that's a plus too.

This is a day shift position. Your pay and benefits are part of the deal here; you have the option to participate in health, financial, and security plans. This role may also be eligible for our Management or Sales Incentive Programs as part of the total rewards package.
