Industrial Maintenance Technician

About This Role

What you'll do

You're the person who keeps things running around here. That means walking the property regularly, keeping an eye out for anything that needs fixing before it becomes a bigger problem. When work orders come in ; for common areas or individual apartments ; you handle them.

Preventative maintenance is part of your routine too. You'll assess and repair appliances as they break down. And when a unit turns over, you help get it ready for the next resident.

  • Complete work requests for common areas and apartment units
  • Perform preventative maintenance across the property
  • Troubleshoot and repair appliances
  • Prepare vacant units so they're move in ready
  • Occasional on call duty ; you get a trip stipend if called back after regular hours
  • Maintain a safe working environment at all times

What you need to bring

A year or two of previous maintenance experience is preferred but not absolutely required. You should have basic working knowledge of electrical systems, plumbing systems, and painting.

  • 1 2 years previous maintenance experience preferred
  • Basic knowledge of electrical and plumbing systems plus painting
  • HVAC and EPA experience preferred
  • CPO certification preferred
  • A valid driver's license and insurance may be required

The pay and bonus potential

The hourly range here is $20 to $30 per hour depending on your experience level. On top of that, there's a 5% potential bonus.
