Education Director
The Learning Experience Corp is hiring an Education Director for our center in Phoenix, AZ. This isn't a desk job where you push papers. It's a role where you're in the classrooms, working with teachers, and making sure every kid is getting the kind of early education that changes lives. You'll partner with the Center Director to keep things running well ; from the curriculum to the culture.
Compensation is $52,000 salary.
What You'll Do
People
- Help make sure the center is fully staffed with teachers who know what they're doing.
- Keep a high quality teaching team that acts professionally and follows brand standards.
- Run monthly staff development meetings using content provided by TLE. Document everything.
- Think strategically and solve problems using whatever resources are available.
- Focus on keeping good teachers. Give clear feedback. Coach them. Hold them accountable.
- Handle parent and staff concerns quickly and directly at the center level.
Enrollment
- Support the center's marketing plan to bring in new families and keep the ones we have.
- Post photos and captions on social media regularly. Make them engaging.
- Get positive customer reviews every month.
- Make sure teachers are using parent communication tools the right way.
- Support brand initiatives and family engagement strategies.
Profitability
- Contribute to hitting the center's profit margin (EBITDA) budget.
- Stay up to date on budget goals and what resources are needed.
Standards and Quality
- Uphold every health, safety, and licensing standard across the center.
- Prioritize good supervision and make sure the center follows rules for medical and dietary needs.
- Keep the physical space organized, clean, and ready for tours at any time.
- Make sure everything follows The Learning Experience curriculum and brand standards.
- Know the TLE curriculum inside and out. Use that knowledge to train teachers and make classrooms successful.
- Maintain high quality interactions between teachers and students.
- Complete student assessments accurately and on time each assessment period.
- Manage family conferences at least twice a year.
- Conduct formal classroom observations every month.
- Replenish center materials and inventory within the budget.
- Take initiative. Operate autonomously. Make thoughtful decisions that support staff, families, and the business.
What You Need
- Two or more years of center leadership, curriculum management, and people leadership experience is highly preferred. At least one year is required.
- You must have a state specific Administrative or Director credential and meet all applicable state guidelines for this role.
- A Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field is highly preferred.
- You need a strong working knowledge of state licensing rules and regulations.
- You must meet all applicable background screening, health, and safety training requirements.
