Construction Worker

Alright, let's get straight to it. We're Saiia Construction, and we're looking for a Project Manager to run the show on a major multi year project near Joseph City, Arizona. This isn't just another job site; you'd be helping safeguard public health and support cleaner energy. It's a big deal.

The catch? You've got to be on board with being on the road or temporarily relocating. This is a field based role supporting sites throughout the assigned project area, and it requires about 75% travel. We'll make it work for you with a vehicle allowance, a fuel card, and per diem for meals and lodging.

What you'll do

You're in charge of making sure our civil construction projects finish on time, on budget, safely, and profitably. That means you own everything from the financial setup and updates to the schedule, change orders, submittals, and procurement.

• Your main focus is always the client. You'll plan, organize, and staff key field positions.
• Establish project objectives and procedures that fit within our company's framework.
• You're the main point of contact for the client, subcontractors, and vendors to keep construction moving.
• Monitor and control construction through the on site Superintendent to stay on schedule and budget.
• Represent us in meetings with clients and subcontractors; you might even assist in labor strategy sessions.
• Manage all financial aspects of contracts; fee payments, equipment rentals, income and expenses; to protect our interests while keeping those client relationships strong.
• A big part of your day is solving problems: researching drawing conflicts, interpreting designs for crews, coordinating material deliveries, and resolving issues before they become serious.
• Prepare documentation like status reports, punch lists, field design change requests (FDRs), "as built" drawings beyond normal scope reports.
• Provide technical direction to engineers or superintendents on print interpretation or construction feasibility.

The practical stuff

• The role is based out of Phoenix, AZ, supporting that Arizona project site with significant travel required (about 75%).
• A vehicle allowance plus a fuel card will be provided for your use.
• When traveling you'll receive per diem payments covering your meals lodging expenses .

The Division Manager might ask for additional assignments as needed . Also , this role assists in scheduling service maintenance for heavy equipment at the jobsite ; optimizing utilization rental resources helps reduce downtime keeps operating costs low . It’s all connected .
