Veterinary Technician
About This Role
The Role
Society Hill Veterinary Hospital is looking for a Certified Veterinary Technician for Philadelphia, PA. This is a small animal practice with AAHA accreditation and a 4.8 star Google rating from the community. You'd be working in a hospital that takes comprehensive medical care seriously and gives you real backing to do your job well.
You're not just running bloodwork here. You'll be a core part of the medical team, handling treatments, monitoring anesthesia, running lab work, and mentoring other team members as they build their own skills. You'll talk directly with clients about treatment plans, answer their questions, and help them understand what's going on with their pets. And you'll help shape the culture of the hospital every day through training and feedback.
This practice is part of the Mission Pet Health network. So you get the feel of a local independent hospital combined with a larger support system behind you. That means internal specialty consults are available when you need them, and you won't have to refer every complicated case out the door.
