Inizio Engage works with a top biotechnology company, and we're looking for a Key Account Specialist to handle urgent care accounts in Philadelphia, PA. This isn't a desk job. You'll be out in the field, visiting high value clinicians and decision makers at corporate urgent care sites. The goal is straightforward: educate key stakeholders on our products, build relationships that matter, and keep everything moving forward.
Your day to day involves calling on customers, uncovering their approval processes, and understanding how their account protocols work. You'll use digital tools to track your progress and figure out what to do next. And you'll work closely with colleagues from Field Medical, Reimbursement, and Key Account Management teams ; always staying compliant while getting the job done.
Responsibilities
- Gain access to high value clinicians, influencers, and decision makers within corporate urgent care accounts and sites of care
- Maintain a proactive approach toward call objectives with clear next steps and proper documentation
- Adapt quickly to new digital tools for customer engagement; use analytics to develop insights and plan next actions
- Build and update business plans that address all customer types and opportunities across the territory
- Develop new relationships while keeping existing ones solid with key contacts and opinion leaders across a varied customer base
- Ensure stakeholder education and awareness of products throughout Philadelphia, PA in both public and private sectors
- Engage large customers strategically to educate health professionals on products and company resources
- Collaborate compliantly with cross functional teams ; Field Medical, Reimbursement, Key Account Management ; to answer customer questions and advance business goals
What you need for this job
- A Bachelor's degree
- 5+ years of pharma sales AND account management experience
- Experience with COVID treatments, antivirals, migraine therapies, or urgent care settings is preferred but not required
- A history of managing large regional or national level accounts effectively
- The ability to uncover approval processes and account protocols while building relationships with key stakeholders and decision makers
- Experience supporting the Buy & Bill process including contracting or rebating with accounts is important here
- A proven record of building strong relationships while driving education awareness compliantly
- The skill to develop strategic account business plans that actually get executed
