Team Lead

The Role

Leaf Home is the largest direct to consumer provider of branded home services in the US. We've been trusted by over a million homeowners, and we're looking for a Field Canvassing Team Lead in Philadelphia, PA to build brand awareness and generate sales leads. This isn't a desk job. You'll be outside, managing a team that's knocking on doors and talking to people in high probability neighborhoods.

You'll own the territory. That means recruiting and training a team of Field Canvassers, planning their route calendars (including evenings and weekends), and making sure they hit their lead generation goals. You'll work closely with the Field Canvassing Manager and coordinate with local Operations and Installation teams to grow our presence in the local market. And you'll track everything ; metrics, KPIs, ROI ; to prove the territory is working.

What You'll Do

• Drive canvassing based marketing initiatives to generate sales leads for the sales team to follow up on
• Identify, schedule, and plan daily route calendars for your team of Field Canvassers, which will include evenings and weekend work
• Manage a multi team territory to hit customer lead generation targets
• Recruit, hire, train, and develop your Field Canvassers, holding them accountable through established marketing goals and KPIs
• Handle permit requirements in your assigned areas to stay compliant with local ordinances and regulations
• Collaborate with the Field Canvassing Manager and local Operations and Installation Managers to build brand presence
• Track and report on canvassing lead generation metrics so you can evaluate performance and territory ROI
• Exceed sales lead quotas based on established KPIs
• Other duties as assigned by your supervisor

What You Need

• A high school diploma or equivalent
• At least 2 years of management experience in field canvassing within a direct to consumer industry
• Experience in customer service, sales, lead generation, experiential marketing, or field canvassing
• Experience recruiting, onboarding, and training marketing, canvassing, or event staff
• Knowledge of current best practices and new strategies for canvassing and direct to consumer field marketing
• Comfort working outside in varying climates
• Availability to work evenings and weekends
• The ability to juggle multiple tasks and shift your attention without dropping anything important
• A self driven, accountable attitude ; you're the kind of person who wins every day
• Detail oriented with a knack for finding the most efficient path to completion
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills for talking with internal and external stakeholders
• The ability to connect ideas logically, spot inconsistencies, solve complex problems, and reflect on your work
• A service mindset ; you provide timely, empathetic support through all communication channels
• Legal authorization to work in the country where this role is based, without needing visa sponsorship

It Helps If You Have

• Previous door to door canvassing experience
• Home improvement knowledge or experience

Travel and Schedule

Local travel is required for this role. Additional hours beyond the standard workweek may be needed ; this is an exempt position.

Physical Environment

This is a field office, manufacturing, or construction environment. You'll work outside in varying temperatures and climates. The role involves sedentary work with occasional exertion of up to 10 pounds.
