Registered Nurse

What you'd do

The work is about managing complex care for patients who need extended recovery. You're the one coordinating everything.

• Your main focus is on direct patient care from assessment through evaluation.
• You'll handle some advanced interventions: managing chest tubes, ventilators, wound vacs, and central lines.
• Administering medications and critical care IV drips is part of the routine.
• Feeding tube management falls under your purview as well.
• A big part of the job is monitoring patient status; you're implementing plans and evaluating what's working.
• You'll collaborate with the entire healthcare team; doctors, therapists, everyone; to build and follow a cohesive care plan for each patient.
• Providing guidance and supervision to clinical support staff on your unit is also expected.

The schedule & basics

This is a full time position. The schedule is three 12 hour night shifts per week. You need an active RN license for the state where Philadelphia, PA is located. Experience in a Long Term Acute Care setting or with similar high acuity patients is what we're after.

Compensation & benefits

The pay range listed for this role is $1,728 to $1,872 per week. On top of that, Gifted Healthcare provides benefits for their travelers.
