The Work
You'd be joining the Integrated Warfare Systems & Sensors team within Rotary and Mission Systems. Your focus is on launcher electrical systems. That means you're designing them from the ground up; picking Commercial Off the Shelf components, designing custom hardware, and setting the requirements for how everything gets packaged into its chassis or enclosure.
Specifically, you'll help sustain the electrical design of the MK41 Vertical Launching System. You'll also work on new designs for next generation launcher and weapon systems across different platforms.
- Apply your electrical engineering skills while coordinating with more senior personnel on significant technical matters.
- Conduct design, development, and testing of electronic and electrical components, sub systems, and systems.
- Develop all the technical documentation that makes it real: initial design specs, schematics, assembly drawings, parts lists. You'll also prep test procedures and reports to ensure everything meets customer and company requirements.
What You Need to Bring
A Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related scientific/engineering field is required. A Master's degree is a plus.
You need at least two years of professional experience supporting multi disciplinary teams in electronic system development. Experience with DOD or US Navy development using military standards is highly desired.
Your hands on experience should be in one or more of these areas:

- Circuit Card Assembly Design
- The bonding and grounding of enclosures
- FPGA selection or programming
The Logistics & Clearance
