This is an Occupational Therapist Assistant role at The Quad Cities Rehabilitation Institute in Peoria, IL. What You'll Actually Do
- Deliver high quality, compassionate occupational therapy care under the supervision of an OTR/L.
- Use the latest equipment and technology during treatment sessions.
- Work closely with patients, their families, and caregivers to support each person's rehabilitation journey.
- Communicate effectively with everyone involved in the patient's care.
- Contribute to a supportive work environment where team members look out for each other.
What You Need to Bring
- A current state license or certification as an OTA (in states where that's required).
- CPR certification ; preferred unless it's required by hospital policy.
- An associate's degree from an accredited occupational therapy assistant program ; that's preferred too.
- The ability to communicate clearly with patients, families, and caregivers.
- Competency in providing occupational therapy treatment. That means you've done it before and can show it.
