This is an Occupational Therapist Assistant role at The Quad Cities Rehabilitation Institute in Peoria, IL. What You'll Actually Do

• Deliver high quality, compassionate occupational therapy care under the supervision of an OTR/L.
• Use the latest equipment and technology during treatment sessions.
• Work closely with patients, their families, and caregivers to support each person's rehabilitation journey.
• Communicate effectively with everyone involved in the patient's care.
• Contribute to a supportive work environment where team members look out for each other.

What You Need to Bring

• A current state license or certification as an OTA (in states where that's required).
• CPR certification ; preferred unless it's required by hospital policy.
• An associate's degree from an accredited occupational therapy assistant program ; that's preferred too.
• The ability to communicate clearly with patients, families, and caregivers.
• Competency in providing occupational therapy treatment. That means you've done it before and can show it.
