What You'll Actually Do

You're working inside a national home improvement retail store in Pasadena, CA, talking with shoppers about their HVAC needs. This isn't a desk job. You'll be on your feet, walking the aisles, and striking up conversations with homeowners who walk through those doors.

  • Engage customers right there in the store to talk about heating and air conditioning upgrades
  • Promote free in home HVAC consultations and tune ups ; these are no pressure conversations that can lead to real business
  • Generate leads for residential HVAC service, installation, and system replacement consultations
  • Educate homeowners on energy savings and comfort improvements through modern heating and air systems
  • Schedule appointments for our HVAC technicians or comfort advisors
  • Represent the ARS brand with professionalism and genuine enthusiasm ; you're the face of the company in that store

The Schedule & Pay Details

The pay is $18 per hour plus commission. On average, reps earn between $20 and $30 per hour when you add in commission. You'll get paid weekly via direct deposit, and that commission comes on top of your hourly rate ; it's not buried or hidden.

Schedules are weekdays available with weekends required. They offer both part time and full time options, so you can find something that works for your life. Full time employees also get insurance available after just 31 days (medical as low as $5 a week), dental, vision, HSA/FSA, a 401(k) with company match, paid time off plus holiday pay, and company paid life insurance.

There's paid training too ; no HVAC experience required at all.

What You Need to Bring

  • An outgoing personality and willingness to talk to strangers ; that's the main thing
  • Retail, kiosk, or sales experience is preferred but definitely not required; we'll train you if you've got the right attitude
  • You need to be able to stand and walk during your shifts ; this isn't a sitting job
  • Weekend availability is expected plus some holidays too
  • Reliable transportation ; you need to get yourself to Pasadena, CA reliably each shift
  • A clean professional appearance that represents the ARS brand well
  • At least 18 years old and able to pass a background check
  • Able to attend weekly in office meetings (yes they happen regularly)

The compensation ranges above are potential possibilities only; they aren't guaranteed amounts or offers.

Sign on bonuses only apply when advertised for specific roles; any bonus amount depends on experience and gets paid out according to an offer letter addendum.
