What You'll Do Here

At Huntington Hospital, we've been at this for 129 years. That started with a 16 bed facility and grew into a 619 bed nationally recognized healthcare leader. In Nuclear Medicine, you'd be working under limited supervision to produce quality scans for medical interpretation. It's about getting patients the right images while keeping things moving smoothly through the department. You'll coordinate your work with state and federal policies, and sometimes the schedule flexes a bit depending on what's needed.

What You Need to Bring

• Satisfactory completion of formal nuclear medicine technology training ; either through the NMTCB or ARRT(N) pathways.
• Two years of experience in nuclear medicine is preferred, but not strictly required if you're otherwise qualified.
• You need one of these certifications: CNMT (Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist) or CTNM (Certified Technologist Nuclear Medicine) from California's Department of Public Health, OR ARRT(N) certification from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists.
• A current Basic Life Support Provider (BLS) card issued by the American Heart Association is required.
• You should have solid knowledge of nuclear radiopharmacy and be comfortable performing venipuncture.

The Schedule & Location

This is a part time position with day shifts running 8 hours each. The primary location is at 100 W California Blvd in Pasadena ; that's Pasadena, CA for our system records. Just keep in mind that "Pasadena" isn't actually replacing Pasadena, CA here; that placeholder stays as is for your reference.

Pay & Benefits Breakdown

The base pay range lands between $62.51 and $95.34 per hour. But don't let that number fool you ; there are additional pieces to the compensation puzzle here. Shift differentials can bump things up, plus extra shift incentives and potential bonuses exist for qualifying roles. Base pay is just one slice; a comprehensive benefits program kicks in for eligible positions too.
