About This Role
Alright, let's talk about this one. It's not your typical HR desk job. This is for the Blood Donor Center, and it's all about getting out there, talking to people, and making sure we have the blood and platelet donations our community needs. You're building the program that literally saves lives.
What you'll do
You'll develop and run our whole blood and platelet donor program. That means hitting our center's goals by finding donors wherever they are.
- Recruit donors by getting out into the community. You'll connect with organizations, set up events, and hold informational meetings.
- Manage mobile blood drives and collections here at the hospital.
- Supervise the donor telemarketers who help get the word out.
- The hours aren't always 9 to 5; you need some flexibility to make events and community work happen.
- If you're drawing blood, you've got to be competent in venipuncture.
What you need to bring
A high school diploma is required. If you have a Bachelor's in marketing or communications, that's a definite plus.
We need at least one year of related experience. Experience working in a blood donor center? Even better.
Your skill set has to include excellent communication skills. And I mean excellent. You'll be giving public speeches, so you need to be comfortable engaging a room or a crowd.

Pay & benefits
The estimated base rate for this position is $35.00 - $52.50 an hour. There could be more on top of that from differentials, incentives for extra shifts, or bonuses; it depends on the role.
The base pay is just one part of the package. If you qualify for the position, a comprehensive benefits program is available too.
