About This Role
Alright, let's talk about this RN role on our Cardiovascular Stepdown unit.
The Role
You'd be providing care for patients who need close monitoring and frequent assessments. It's a spot where you'll use your clinical judgment to manage treatment autonomously. You're collecting comprehensive patient data, advocating as part of an interdisciplinary team, and managing the delivery of care safely. A big part of the job is monitoring critical vital signs so you can intervene when necessary. You're also the one educating patients and their families about medications, procedures, and treatments throughout their stay.
What You Need to Bring
- A Florida RN license is required. If you have a compact license, you've got 60 days after relocating to get the Florida one.
- You need a BLS AHA Provider card; they'll give you 30 days from your start date to get it if you don't have it already.
- At least one year of RN experience in an acute care setting is what we're hoping for.
- A BSN degree is preferred, but not a deal breaker.
The Schedule & Pay
This is a full time position working nights. The pay range is $29.50 to $44.27 per hour, which varies based on your years of relevant experience.
Where You'd Be Working
This is at HCA Florida Osceola Hospital in Orlando, FL. It's a 404 bed tertiary care hospital that's Joint Commission accredited and a Level II Trauma Center. They're also a teaching hospital in collaboration with UCF College of Medicine. The place offers a ton: Emergency and Trauma Care, a Pediatric ER, a Heart & Vascular Institute, a Comprehensive Stroke Center, Maternity and NICU services, Women’s Services, Behavioral Health, Orthopedics & Spine, and a Graduate Medical Education Program.

A Quick Note from Us
"Bricks and mortar do not make a hospital. People do." That's from Dr. Thomas Frist Sr., HCA Healthcare's Co Founder. We think that sums it up pretty well.
