What This Role Is All About

This is an Assistant Preschool Teacher position at Cranium Academy in Orlando, FL. You're not just filling a spot here; you're stepping into a place where what you do every day actually matters. What You'll Actually Do

• Help lead learning activities that are designed to be innovative and age appropriate. You're not just babysitting; you're helping kids develop and grow.
• Keep an eye on safety and well being all day. That means during meals, naptime, playground time, anything.
• Track how each child is progressing and note what you see. You're part of monitoring their development.
• Set up and organize learning materials so the classroom is ready to go each day.
• Build a classroom environment where kids and other teachers actually want to be. Harmony matters here.

What You Need to Bring

• A high school diploma or equivalent. That's nonnegotiable.
• At least one year of experience is preferred, but we've hired folks with less who just had the right attitude.
• 45 DCF hours are preferred. If you don't have them, we can talk about it.
• You have to be able to work well with others and communicate clearly. That's a requirement.
• Patience and a nurturing attitude are essential. You have to genuinely care about the well being of young learners.

The Pay and Schedule

Pay ranges from $15.00 to $16.00 an hour, depending on your background and fit. The schedule itself will be discussed during the interview process, so we'll go over specifics then.
